Maria Cecilia Terrones, Founder and CEO

Cecilia, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Beyond Excellence LLC, is dedicated to ensuring that the highest standards of care and respect are provided to every individual supported by the organization. She plays an active role in overseeing key aspects of the business, including marketing and risk management. Through her leadership, Cecilia fosters a culture of trust, building strong relationships with clients, staff, and providers alike.

Cecilia is passionate about creating a positive impact not only within the organization but in the broader community as well. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in her hands-on approach and dedication to the well-being of everyone connected to Beyond Excellence.


Outside of her professional responsibilities, Cecilia enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and pursues creative interests in home décor and travel.

Claudia Armstrong, COO

Claudia Armstrong, PE, brings an engineering mindset to executive leadership at Beyond Excellence, blending strategic thinking with a deep commitment to delivering high-quality care to the individuals the organization serves.

As Chief Operating Officer, Claudia is responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of the organization. She ensures that systems and processes run smoothly, creating an environment where both staff and individuals are supported with professionalism and care.

She plays a key role in strategic planning, operational oversight, and the implementation of best practices—driving high standards of service across the organization. Her focus on efficiency and quality enables Beyond Excellence to thrive in a dynamic and competitive landscape.

Carolina Londono, CFO

Carolina, as the Chief Financial Officer of Beyond Excellence, plays a pivotal role in guiding the agency's strategic financial direction and ensuring its long-term sustainability. She oversees all financial operations, including payroll management and risk mitigation, and is instrumental in handling complex financial challenges as they arise. Carolina’s leadership extends beyond numbers, as she is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on both the agency and the lives of those it serves.


Outside of her professional role, she enjoys pursuing creative projects and values time spent with her family.

Diego Terrones, Program Director

Diego plays a critical role in overseeing and supporting the organization's Richmond area providers, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the Day Center. In addition to his supervisory responsibilities, Diego is a certified Therapeutic Options trainer, equipping staff with the tools they need to deliver effective care. Known for his hands-on approach and dedication, Diego is always available to offer guidance and support where needed, ensuring the organization operates efficiently.

Diego’s passion for the field is driven by his commitment to helping those who cannot help themselves, and his leadership reflects his deep dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others.


Outside of work, Diego enjoys exploring new restaurants, bowling, and watching movies. He is also an avid consumer of motivational content.

Betsy Sanchez, Office Manager

As Office Manager of Beyond Excellence, Betsy plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office. She is responsible for maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements, ensuring that all paperwork is meticulously prepared and ready for state review. Betsy is also instrumental in managing potential challenges and preventing disruptions, ensuring the office runs efficiently.

A passionate advocate for underserved populations, Betsy is dedicated to supporting individuals who have been overlooked by society. She takes great satisfaction in connecting individuals with caring families and witnessing their growth and success.


Outside of her professional duties, Betsy is actively involved in her church community and enjoys creative pursuits such as playing drums and painting.

Saira Gonzalez, Executive Assistant

Saira serves as the Executive Assistant, helping keep things organized, running smoothly, and on track. She supports leadership with scheduling, communication, project follow-through, and making sure important tasks don’t fall through the cracks. Saira brings a strong background in compliance, quality assurance, and day-to-day operations, which helps her stay one step ahead and keep the office moving efficiently.

Saira's proactive approach and commitment to clear communication ensure that staff, individuals, and leadership remain supported and connected.

A passionate advocate at heart, Saira continues to prioritize person-centered practices in all aspects of her work. She strives to uplift the individuals served by the agency by promoting self-advocacy, respect, and meaningful engagement.

Outside of work, Saira enjoys spending time with her family and pets and finds peace in outdoor activities like fishing, which help her stay grounded and recharged.

Alexandra Prinz, Office Manager Assistant

Ms. Alexandra is the Office Manager Assistant, bringing years of experience, strong organizational skills, and a warm, steady presence to the team. Born in Germany into a military family, she grew up traveling the world—an upbringing that sparked her love for different cultures, new places, and lifelong exploration.

Before joining our office, Ms. Alexandra built a 20+ year career as both a Warehouse Supervisor and a Culinary Buyer for Busch Gardens. In these roles, she demonstrated exceptional leadership, creativity, and attention to detail, helping support major daily operations for one of the area’s most well-known attractions. Her background makes her a natural fit for supporting the fast-paced, behind-the-scenes work that keeps the office running smoothly.

Outside of work, she enjoys quiet moments spent reading and gardening, finding joy and peace in both. Her love of travel continues to inspire her, reminding her of the many places she’s been and the adventures still ahead.

Rachel Young, Residential Coordinator

Rachel plays a key role in reviewing monthly documentation from providers, attending Individualized Service Plan (ISP) meetings, and participating in audits to ensure compliance and quality of care. She is passionate about contributing to an agency that supports individuals with disabilities in achieving greater independence, and she values the personal connections fostered when providers bring individuals to visit the office.


Outside of work, Rachel enjoys participating in a competitive pool league, where she has previously competed in championship rounds in Las Vegas. She also enjoys spending time with her family and engaging in outdoor activities.

Dayani Winn, Recreational Therapist

Dayani is a Recreational Therapist at Beyond Excellence, where she designs and implements therapeutic recreational activities tailored to the needs and interests of Individuals served by our organization. In this capacity, she promotes physical, emotional, and social well-being through engaging programs that encourage participation, skill development, and a sense of community. Dayani also serves as a Therapeutic Options trainer for staff and providers, equipping them with the skills necessary to support individuals effectively.

In addition to her therapeutic responsibilities, she manages the non-center-based day support program, conducts intake and annual meetings, oversees documentation, and prepares for audits. Dayani is driven by her passion for making a positive difference in individuals’ lives, which inspired her to pursue a career in this field.


Outside of work, Dayani enjoys spending quality time with her family, taking beach trips, and Latin dancing.

Chase Fields, PCR Documentation Coordinator

Chase serves as the PCR Documentation Coordinator, supporting the Person-Centered Review (PCR) process under the DBHDS IDD/DD Waiver. In this role, he is responsible for reviewing, organizing, and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to waiver services. They ensure that all materials align with regulatory requirements and best practices in person-centered care. By facilitating accurate and timely documentation, Chase contributes to the quality assurance process and helps uphold the standards set by DBHDS for individuals receiving developmental disability services. 

Motivated by a commitment to the care and support of our clients, Chase takes pride in being part of a team that makes a positive impact on individuals' lives. He values the importance of fostering a supportive and organized work environment, recognizing that this contributes to the high-quality service we provide.


Outside of work, Chase enjoys reading, hiking, and watching films, reflecting his appreciation for both literature and the outdoors. He is dedicated to personal development and aspires to expand his horizons through travel. A culinary enthusiast, his favorite dish is lasagna. Chase favors the color navy blue and finds inspiration in the sounds of R&B and classic rock music.

Tyler Jones, Direct Support Team Lead

Tyler brings dedication, compassion, and strong leadership to her role as DSP Team Lead. She is deeply committed to promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life for every individual we serve. In her leadership role, Tyler supports our DSP staff through hands-on guidance, training, and day-to-day coordination to ensure a safe, engaging, and person-centered environment. She is known for her calm presence, strong work ethic, and genuine connection with both individuals and team members.


Outside of work Tyler loves to spend quality time with her family and enjoys outdoor activities. She loves to dine out and socialize with her friends as well.

Geethani Sosa, Day Center Coordinator

Geethani is the Day Center Coordinator, where she plays a crucial role in supporting the operational efficiency of the center. With her strong organizational skills, she manages administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and coordinating communications among staff, individuals, and families. Geethani is committed to ensuring a smooth and welcoming environment that enhances the overall experience for all involved.

Her attention to detail and proactive approach enable her to effectively assist in program planning and resource allocation, contributing to the successful execution of daily activities. Geethani’s friendly demeanor and strong interpersonal skills allow her to build positive relationships with participants and their families, fostering a supportive community atmosphere.


Outside of her professional responsibilities, Geethani enjoys spending time with family and friends, engaging in community events, and exploring new interests. Her dedication to service and passion for helping others make her a valuable asset to the Day Center team.

Nathali Ospina, Scanning/Office Clerk

Nathali plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accessibility of our organization's documentation. She is responsible for digitizing original documents by entering them into our scanning software, ensuring that all records are easily retrievable while preserving their original quality. Her meticulous attention to detail is vital to our commitment to document integrity, which is why we emphasize the importance of using original documents.

Dedicated to serving others, Nathali enjoys helping her colleagues and contributing to a collaborative work environment.


Outside of work, she cherishes time spent with family and friends. A culinary enthusiast, Nathali particularly enjoys Peruvian cuisine, with a special fondness for anticuchos de corazón. Her favorite color is white, and she often enjoys listening to salsa music.

Van Jacobs, Front Desk Receptionist

Ms. Van is the friendly face at our front desk, welcoming everyone who walks through the door with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. With a strong background in both the military and legal fields, she brings a wealth of experience to her role. She holds a degree in Liberal Arts with a focus in Paralegal Services and a minor in Medical Malpractice, giving her a solid foundation in communication, organization, and understanding detailed processes.

Before joining our team, Ms. Van proudly served 22 years in the United States Air Force, specializing in Military Healthcare. Her service strengthened her leadership, discipline, and ability to support others during challenging moments—qualities that shine through in the calm, respectful way she assists staff, individuals, and visitors each day.

Outside of work, Ms. Van loves being outdoors. Gardening is one of her favorite pastimes, and she enjoys creating peaceful spaces where she can relax and unwind.

Her mix of military experience, legal knowledge, and love for people and nature makes her a grounded, compassionate presence in the office, and we’re grateful to have her as part of our team.
